How are the programs ORGANIZED in the collection?
The collection is organized so that several methods can be used to sort it's contents. Each of these sorting methods rely on the completeness and the accuracy of the information provided by the users who actually add the programs.
The most recently added content is always featured on the front page until it is pushed to a deeper page to allow newer content to be added.
As each program is added, Users can elect to simultaneously add it in up to 4 sub-collections we call Channels. Currently, we have approximately 25 Channels. Content on each Channel page is sorted the same way as it is on the front page - with the most recently added content on the front page.
In addition, Users are also required to insert Titles, provide Abstracts (short descriptions), Full Descriptions and Content Tags (key words) to enhance the capability of the Site Search function at the site. Viewers can sort through the collection by searching on words that may have been inserted in those fields when the content was added.
